Hi,

I have installed Apache server 1.3 on my windows box.
I own a domain, for the sake of the argument lets call it
mydomain.com.

When I type www.mydomain.com in IE or any other browser, I get the
site served correctly but the address in the top bar changes to my IP
address, e.g: http://111.111.111.111

Would anyone know why this is happening and how I could solve this
problem?

thank you.

P.S: I new to this, sorry if this is a silly question.

Use the UseCanonicalName options.
