Post subject: Spoofing log files in Apache?

Running 1.3.29 and getting some really odd requests in the log file. Is
there any way that apache could be fed bogus ip addresses, page requests,
etc???

Well, sure, if you make up an http request and send it... but why?
What kind of "strange" entry you get?

You'll normally find two sorts of strange log entries: viruses trying to
abuse known exploits (normally for IIS) and spammers trying to be linked in
your stats pages (assuming that some people have public awstats pages and
so). I suppose you mean that.
