Hi, I'd appreciate it if people could take a look at my HTML site and reply
with any comments or observations they may have.

I don't know what anyone else thinks, but I would be wary of
using microsoft icons. Here is why.

http://www.microsoft.com/permission/copyrgt/cop-img.htm

It certainly doesn't bother me I just don't want to see their
vultures come after you.

no doc type

couple of other invalid tags and missing alt tags, but other than that the code
is pretty clean. Be worth checking it through validator.w3 though just to make
sure (I was looking at the front page)

Aesthetically speaking I really don't like it

The generic wind filter in photoshop
The cheesy use of the wind filter as a mouse over (just annoys me)
Colours are nice but need to be broken up more
Too much white space IMHO, it just floats
Discography page is broken and usabilty wise awful
The icons on 'interact' are not in keeping with the rest of the site

I was going to show you a website I did for a record label, but they've gone
and butchered it LOL Smile

My biggest gripe is the colour and the amount of white space. It floats in an
entire see of white space but the content is actually very cramped.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

I quite like it.....It's disticntive and certainly looks memorable......I
like the way you've created the sort of look and feel that most people
resort to Flash to acchieve, but you've done it with good old markup.....
My only criticism would be the use of MS icons on your "interact"
page......Besides the fact that they're copyrighted images and MS will bite
yer arse if they find out, I don't think they fit in with the look and feel
of the site......They're the only element in the entire design that jars my
eyes when I see it.....Some sympathetically designed icons would make all
the difference.....
Other than that, cool looking site.....

Thanks Sam, I agree with what you said about the icons - I just put them in
at first as they were all I had - then I got lazy and left them in.
I don't really have the skills to make my own that would look as good. Not
sure what to do about them.

I guess.

Broken up?
Does that mean add more colours?

I wanted to make it less than 750 px wide to fit in a 800x600 browser window
but I guess I could have made it of a % width.

Does white space mean literally white space or does it just mean the
background colours?
