I've looked at dozens and dozens of "off the shelf" ecommerce systems but
non seem capable of selling goods based on sizes.

We make and sell Window Blinds and thus require the ability for a customer
to enter blind sizes into the shopping cart which inturn checks a price grid
to work out a price based on width and drop measurements from a preset price
grid.

So far no joy...does anyone know of a system that as this flexibilty?

Many Thanks

Simon

Hi Simon

It wouldn't be difficult to write one to do it.

Email me, removing the obvious, if you'd like me to take a look at it.

Andy

Howdy Simon,

You are thinking too complex on it. BIZyCart can handle what you have in
mind and increment the prices based on color, widths and lengths. It will
automatically generate the selection pulldowns for you.

We could help you with this solution

The solution that we can provide you with would work in this way.
You would have a set price for a the smallest blind.
EG basic price for 1 blind = £50.00

you would then have an options drop down menu to select Width and drop
You could use multiple option drop downs for the options.
Size, drop, colour, + any others you can think of.

So that you might add £10 for a width of 3 foot
Or you might add £30 for a width of 5 foot.

You might then add £20 for a drop of 2 foot

This would work out at
1 basic blind : £50
3 foot width : £10
2 foot drop : £20
Cost of blind : £80.00

kind regards
