Hi one and all,

I'm interesting in your suggestions for shopping cart/shop software
that has the functionality to all the client to download a file (the
software product just purchased) stored on the server once they have
completed their payment (via PROTX probably).

I have looked at a few but none seem to mention this ability, any
suggestions ?

Thanks in advance for your time,

Al

Howdy Al,

If you can download usable credit card numbers, you can end up paying up to
$5,000 per compromised card number. Whoever created the shopping cart can
be included in those fines.

You won't really need to with the BIZyCart Ecommerce Server. You'll get
copies E-Mailed to you and you can access copies with card numbers via
encrypted web mail. You can also download any and all of the data bases via
FTP but the credit card numbers are not usable. You can read the data bases
with Notepad or Excel.

Try reading the question again and see if you can produce an answer that
matches.

Or Miva Merchant. Although Miva is a commercial software, unlike
oscommerce which is free, it is sometimes available free with web
hosting. Miva is quite easy to use but it's limited in flexibility if
there are many products and if you want better web layout designs.

As I know, Miva allows data synchronization using Quickbook, but a
plugin or module is needed.

Out of the box yes, it is limited. With the use of the thousands of
third party plug ins, you can create storefronts that will do far more
than Os Commerce will. Not to mention the fabulous support from the
Miva Users community.
