I suspect that I am looking for the proverbial golden-hooved, winged
unicorn here, but I thought I'd give it a go.
Currently my company's website uses Americart as its shopping cart.
I've been very pleased with it and the reliability has been
outstanding. However, the business is growing and we need a solution
that can handle more sophisticated transactions, such as international
shipping calculations, coupons, affiliate programs and other items.
Ideally, it would be great if the orders could be easily imported
(without a series of complicated steps) into Peachtree. We get a
handful or orders a day, but relatively high dollar amounts, so
although the time savings would be appreciated, it shouldn't be
extremely complicated - otherwise we might as well hand-type the
orders in.
I'm looking at StoreFront.net's solution (including their hosting
service - as our old provider was recently 'bought out' and our new
hosting service has much to be desired) but have read mixed things
about it. I already have the website up and ideally I'd like to be
able to configure the cart and then use my existing pages - basically
knowing the form code to pass the information into the cart instead of
using pre-generated pages.
Any thoughts / input into if StoreFront would work and any extra
modules that could be purchased to facilitate Peachtree transfer or
does anyone know of any better solutions?
Thank you in advance.
