Hi,

I'm currently experincing issues with two web servers
that are load balanced using microsoft network load
balancing that comes with Windows 2000 Advanced Server.

The webservers connect to a oracle database that sits on
a Unix box running Solaris.

We have an error reported from user stating there getting
remote scripting errors and are unable to logon to the
application. Investigation showed that the listener
conections to the database went from 20 to 410 within 10
minutes causing the maximum oracle processes allowed to
be exceeded. In the event log at the same time Script
engine exceptions were raised C0000005 errors occuring in
external objects.

These errors have happend on both webservers but
sometimes the servers will be up for 2 weeks without
these errors occurring.

Any help appreciated

Paul

Generally, the best thing to do for that is:
1) Install the latest MDAC
2) Install the latest script engines (msdn.microsoft.com/scripting)

If the problem persists, then you can do some more intrusive things (like
run a debugger, etc.).
