I have a script I am using that was working properly but with an upgrade
isn't.
The creator wants access to my Cpanel and site admin to try to figure out
what
the problem could be/is and fix it. Should I?

depends if you feel like being a guinea pig or not. Can you reverse the
upgrade?

maybe best to set up the script writer with their own isolated account on
your server for use during development.

If it is a configuration problem, that may be the only way he can fix it.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Okay I swallowed my anxiety and let him in. A lot of sites use his script
service and he does
generate income from it so I quit worrying he would do anything to my site.
I don't think he is that
type of person and on top of that it would be very bad for business. It is
fixed and working like a dream now.
:0) now I can focus back on other things instead of trying to get it
working.

Yes that was the first thing I did after getting the email from him he was
done
and it was working. I changed both the cpanel and admin backend passwords.

Yes I changed all the passwords after he emailed me a short time later
telling me he was done.
