Hello,
We have a Windows 2000 Server, IIS5, running SMTP. Has anyone else out
there had any trouble with the latest round of Microsoft patches for Windows
2000 server and the SMTP service hanging? The service does not stop, the
messages just don't go. They hang in the Queue folder.

I'm experiencing the same problem. I've found the following error in my
event viewer.
Message delivery to the remote domain 'marthaleerealty.com' failed for the
following reason: An internal DNS error caused a failure to find the remote
server.

I'm having the same issues.....
and the "microsoft.public.inetserver.iis.smtp_nntp" newsgroup doesn't
appear to exist....
