Hi,
I have a small SMC7004 router with a public IP and
a set of privates IP behind it (192.168.0.X)

I have a IIS SMTP server running in a Windows 2000 professional
but the messages can not be delivered because the SMTP server said
it cannot resolve the destination domain.

I testet from outsite the port 25 and it is ok mapped and the server
responded ok, but it seems a problem with the DNS.

The IIS SMTP machine is configured to use as DNS server the
router address.

What is wrong?

Regards
Mauricio

Your DNS setup most likely. Try a NSLookup on athe MX record of the
destination domain from the server. See a DNS group for details on
doing this.
