Screen resolution? - I'm getting someone to design a website for me. But I have received different advice from various people regarding the screen to go for. One or two are almost religious in their fervour that the website should be designed around 800 by 600..

Screen resolution-800 or 1024????????? - What are YOU designing for? Soo many sites are around 800 that I suppose there's a strong reason for that size, but browser stats seem to hover around 70% and more for 1024. I hate looking at 800 on my 1024 laptop, it seems like..

Web makeMaking/Screen Size - I seem to have a problem. When I make a webpage, I usually make it using the screen size of 1024x768. But, if I view it later using the screen size of 800x600, a lot of the text is mushed around and some graphics are out of place. Also - this is the case

Archived from groups: alt>www>webmaster (more info?)

Has anyone had the problem of not being able to view YouTube videos in
full-screen mode? A full-screen opens up for me but it's blank and
black and the words "click here" at the top of the page advise that I
need to download Flash. However, I can watch any YouTube videos in
reduce mode, so Flash is already installed.

I have pop-ups unblocked also.

Any ideas?

Eddy.
