Post subject: Running PHP on Apache 2.0
Archived from groups: alt>apache>configuration (more info?)

Hi there,

I have RedHat8.0/Apache2.0.40/PHP 4.2.2-8.0.5 and I installed /tried
to install a bulletin board application.

I'm supposed to access install.php to "install/configure" the
bulleting board, except that when I get to that page i get a lot of
code.

To the httpd.conf file I added:
Loadmodule php4_module modules/libphp4.so
ScriptAlias /php4/ "/usr/lib/php4/"
Action application/x-httpd-php /php4/php.exe

based on some suggestions I got.

It still doesn't work, any suggestions? My bulletin board files,
including the install.php i needed to access is just inside
html/bbfolder/.

Thank you in advance for any help.
Sincerely

chrys
