Two questions from a IIS n00b.
Which ports do I need to open for IIS replication.
I am configuring an IIS 6.0 server to host an Intranet and that has to be replicated to an external IIS server.
Can I use IISSync for this?
Repliweb makes a product that advertises being able to do this.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thx.

Choose a product to do the replication (Repliweb,
robocopy, Application Centre) and then find out what port
it communicates on and open that port on the firewall.
Each product may communicate on a different port.

Hello,

What exactly do you need to replicate? A simple robocopy may work very well.
I use that for a website running internal and external (and only the content
needs to be copied).
