Posts dissapearing? - Recently I have noticed posts on this group. It doesn't appear to be happening on any other groups I visit. Is this more likely to be my news server or something to do with this group alone, Anyone else noticed the same thing

dozens of posts to "cleaning up after a breakin" - Anyone else see all the dozens of posts that seem to be going into the "OT: cleaning up after a thread? I'm assuming something somewhere is reposting existing messages. Anyone know what's going on here, or is my mail reader / mail server doing..

Watch out for posts bt Stephen K. Gielda - Abuse supporter Stephen K. Gielda is changing the group replies to his posts goto so he can harrass another group. Make sure when you reply to them they goto this group not the one he intends to abuse. Stephen K. Gielda owns cotse.net which is a usenet

Mulitpart form posts and mySQL databases - How are files encoded when theyre sent in mulitpart forms??? Is it the same as blob fields in mySQL databased when you use the command?? If not, is it easy to convert from one to the other?? At the moment, Im taking the blob from mySQL and..

I am using OE and it is just in this newsgroup. I mark the thread as read
from the OP on down.

Then I come back and it is back again as unread from the OP on down. I have
OE set to hide read messages but it isn't doing it very well all of the
sudden. This has been going about three days now.

Going to call roadrunner tomorrow about it but was wondering here first if
anyone experienced this and how they fixed it if they did?

Try a modern newsreader?

It isn't Roadrunner... mine is fine. Using Thunderbird.

Have you tried unsubscribing from the group(s) then closing, reopening
and resubscribing to the group(s)? This /should/ start afresh...
