RSS Feed in French not valid

Hello,

I am new to RSS.

I cannot validate an French RSS feed at http://feeds.archive.org/validator/

The problem is caused by accented characters I think and I get this
message in the validator : "XML Parsing error: <unknown>:6:99: undefined
entity"

The solution given is : "The most common cause is encoding errors. There
are several basic approaches to solving this: escaping problematic
characters, escaping entire blocks of text with CDATA sections, or
putting an encoding declaration at the start of the feed."

But I do not know how to implement this solution...

Can you help me?

Maybe, but it's difficult without having a URI for the feed and some
information on what language you're using to generate it. Are you using
a UTF-8 encoding for the feed?
