Permission denied error

Hi,

I have just rebuilt my apache server and am getting a permission denied
error :-

[Tue Mar 14 17:42:05 2006] [error] [client 81.178.55.62] (13)Permission
denied: access to /index.html denied

when I try to view the index file. The ls output is below :-

-rwxr-xr-x 1 domain.org.uk apache 343 Mar 14 17:25 index.html

and apache is running as the user apache in the apache group. Is there
anything that could be stopping Apache from reading the file? I am on
Fedora Core 3 and Apache 2.
