I run a site for my group. From the main page, there is a link to the
group's history (page name 'history.html')
The member writing it sent me an updated version, which I uploaded
(replacing the previous version).
Many members are telling me they continue to get the old version.
FWIW this site has frames (forgive me), and the link to the history page is
not on a Nav Button, but on the 'Start' page.
Thanks.

If you're seeing the new page online, then its something at "the other
members'" end that is the problem. Most likely, browser cache or viewing
from AOL (which serves everything from a proxy server).

Could be that their ISP's simply haven't cached the new page yet....I
beleive AOL are particularly bad for this.....<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: New Page won't come up. |

As it's a framed page, using the F5 key wont refresh the page, so tell them
to right-click on a blank part of the page, (not an image), and then
left-click refresh. Then it will load the *new* page.
The old pages are probaly cached on their PC's hard-drive.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: New Page won't come up. |

gonna need the rest of the URL to help in any meaningful way.

What about clicking Shift + Refresh button? I have never tried on a
framed page, but I would have thought it would work...<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: New Page won't come up. |

Thanks for your answers.
It turned out most of the members having the problem were on
AOHELL.
The technique noted of right clicking the page then left clicking on refresh
worked for the one who couldn't fix it by clearing out their cache.
