Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

I have read thru a lot of old posts about "how-to" perform ODBC logging in
IIS. I have no problem getting this to function correctly.

My problem is that I setup a procedure that worked fine on a W2K server with
IIS 5.0 running.

I tried to test and apply the procedure to several XP machines running IIS
5.1+ and ODBC Logging isn't even an option. The online documentation for
logging activity in IIS 5.1 doesn't even mention ODBC as an option either.
It is as though this functionality has disappeared.

Have others found this to be the case?

Am I missing something?

Help! I really need that ODBC option in IIS 5.1+

Thanks,
Nathan Wright

This is not available on the client OS Windows XP. It is available in IIS
6.0, that is, Windows Server 2003.
