So this one newbie said to the other: "get a good book on Apache (I find the
Apache 2 Server Bible by Mohammed J. Kadir a very helpful guide!).... That
made me learn a LOT in a short period of time."
"And of course", he continued, "try to actually read the online Apache 2
manual documents, they are a good starting point!"...
If you don't specify a default language in httpd.conf (check that file, the
comments should be quite clear on this), Apache decides based on header info
sent by browser. I also understood that if Apache can't make a decision
based on that, it sends English.
Good luck, welcome to Apache, and Welcome to Unix from a fellow n00b!
