We have a IIS 6 web server running many site. It was running on local drives
and has since its initial setup had new SAN storage presented to it. We need
to move all the sites over to the new drive. I was wanting to know what was
the best way to do this in a case where many sites are invloved.

Concerns of course are migrating shares, file and folder ACL's etc.

Robocopy would be a great tool for moving large amounts of data and also
keeping the security. You may have to set up the shares again though.

Robocopy was the plan for moving content, I was hoping there was a tool that
could also update the metabase file and take care of shares to.
