Anyone know of a decent message forum where the timestamp on messages
can be disabled?

Just curious. Why would you want to do that?

That's what I was thinking too.

it wouldn't take a lot to disable it yourself

a slight knowledge of script language would suffice<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

I'm sure it would but I'm not really interested in an open source
app..... just a freebie forum where I can simply disable the timestamp
with a click. I found Network 54 to be the closest thing -- it
disabled the thread timestamp but not the responses I'm getting from
my vistors.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Have you never considered the benefits of disabling time? The
possibilities are endless.

Time, yes! Endless possibilities indeed Wink
I'd first ehm..

.... hmm.. there must be something?
Let's see. I'd first....

Sorry, my mindpower is being limited by the pressure of time
which I can't seem to disable Sad

Timestamps, no... unless I wanted to fake things, make
believe I was somewhere at a certain time while I wasn't.

In article <Xns9514BB3EEF2EEmecharlessweeneycom.DeleteThis@130.133.1.4>, Charles
Sweeney says...

1) So your employer doesn't know you were posting a message about cheese
toasties during work hours.

2) So your parents don't know you were up past bed time.

My bed time is usually whenever I slip into a beer/photoshop induced
coma.

Just out of curiousity ... what are the odds that you and your
employer/parents/stalker would be frequenting the same forums? This whole
scenario doesn't make sense ... but that could be because I'm thoroughly
baked and am drinking my first beer in six months.
