I have installed virtual host Apache2 + tomcat 4.30 + JK2 connector
with multi IPs.
So if there is static page (html) Apache will handle it but if dynamic
page (servlet/jsp) Tomcat will handle it.
Now I am just comes across with how if there is a new client and I
need to isntall new virtual host with static &/ dynamic pages without
restart ALL other virtual hosts???
I heard about Web App Manager but I don't know how to set it up for
multiple virtual host like mine??
Could somebody helps me?

Thanks,
Joe

For apache, apachectl graceful should do a 'graceful' restart without
stopping everything, for Tomcat, you should be able to add new
applications using his 'console' without having to restart it.
Unless you have to manually modify the configuration files for every
reason.

Thank you Davide for your info, you are the only one who reply.
But isn't it I have to stop Tomcat first and the restart Apache and
then start Tomcat because i use setup combinaton for Apache, tomcat &
JK2?

I usually change manually in config file of apache, tomcat.
Could I do automatically use script/ through console?
how to do it, could you explain if don't mind or if you know link that
explain about it...I really appreciate it.

I hope Google setup the newsgroup, so everythime somebody reply it
send to the 'owner' an dothers in this thread....otherwise sometime
could forget though.

No. If you need to touch the configuaration file(s) you have to
restart apache and/or tomcat.
