I am looking for a way to change the default name of the
IIS log file. (exyymmdd.log)

I am trying to create a scheduled event to go grab that
file every day, and copy it, but since it never has the
same name, I can't supply this event with the correct
target.

Any ideas?

The name cannot be changed. Depending on your rollover options (daily,
monthly, hourly, size, etc.) the logs will either be named with the date
(e.g. "exyymmddhh.log") or with a progressive number ("extend78.log").

That is based on the file log format you have chosen. It is hard-coded, and cannot be changed.

Thank you. I hope this information is helpful.
