Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

I have my default page in the correct directory, everthing seems to point to it. Yet if I tpe 'localhost' into my browser, the IIS help page only comes up.

I really need to find someone to talk me through this on phone or chat, but won't charge me $250 like Microsoft wants. Can anyone help me?

Robert

Try the IP address of the server and specify the exact page.

Hello,

Can you please try to access the webpage by using the exact URL, with the
file name included. Does it work? If so, you will have to configure the
Default Document correctly.

Robert,
It appears like you will need to configure a default document for the
website.
