I work at a school which has every teacher networked and all schools as well
with XP pro clients and Novell for Windows. I want to run some ASP apps in my
computer. If I install IIS in my client computer, will it show up on the
school district's network as a server? What is the best solution to run some
ASP apps locally just for myself? How about PWS? Thanks

No. But it will show up as a web server.

Maybe run WebMetrix for ASP.NET apps, otherwise install IIS. If the
school lets you.

Ain't in XP. That was in 95/98.

Hello,

I would recommend that you talk to the IT department of your school, and
tell them what you want/need to do. They may have policies for running
server software on workstations.
