I have some JAR applets that successfully ran on a Windows Server. I just
moved the web sites over to a Linux box and now the JAR applets do not work.
See an error in the browser that the .class file is not found. Though the
JAR file is there. Should these work on a Linux server, anything with the
configuration that would make a difference that someone could think of?

Java applets run on the client, not on the server, there is nothing
on the server side that is needed, unless the client part is trying
to communicate with a server part that is not installed on the
server. Check the error that is returned.

They currenty run on my web site on the Windows server but not the Linux
box. Anything that would have to be different in the HTML code as far as
finding the JAR file, even though it is in the same directory as the HTML
page which accesses it. Would more path information be required, I have
tried everything I can think of??? States it can not find the class.

<APPLET
CODE="wwsw_Loan.class"
ARCHIVE="wwsw_Loan.jar"

The only difference between Windows and Unix servers that could affect
applets is that Unix filesystems are case sensitive: foo.class is not the
same as FOO.CLASS
