Post subject: Invalid method in request error
Archived from groups: alt>apache>configuration (more info?)

Hi all,

I tried to install Apache/2.0.49 (Win32)mod_ssl/2.0.49OpenSLL/0.9.7d on a
Win2K machine. I used kog's guide on
http://kog.ca/?module=articles&task=viewPage&id=10780720859815 (actually for
2.0.48/0.9.7c).

When testing the SSL installation I get the Security Alert message, followed
by a "The page cannot be displayed" page (Cannot find server).
My SSL log contains the line [client myserverip] Invalid method in request
\x80L\x01\x03.

Any clues?

TIA
