Hi All
Apologies if this is really obvious but I would like to use a couple of
forms on my web site (IIS 6) and am not sure which is the easiest way of
submitting the forms, I would ideally like to use the SMTP within IIS but
have no idea how to do the code part for the submission of the form itself
and I dont want a box coming up informing people that the form will use the
default MAPI client etc either. Can anyone point me to an "idiots guide" site
that uses CGI or an equivalent or give me a sample of code that will give me
somewhere to start?

Thanks very much for any help someone can give me

Regards
David Thomas

Hi David,

Welcome to Microsoft newsgroup!

For your issue, Christian¡¯s suggestion is wonderful! This is an easy way
to use CDO sys to implement the current function. Actually, since the KB
article shows how to do for remote server, you can also use it for local
server. The configuration is the same.

Otherwise, if you are interesting in ASP.Net, you can implement the
function by using some classes from System.Net.Mail namespace.

I appreciate your understanding and hope the above information helps, if
you have any issues or concerns please let me know. I will be happy to be
of further assistance.
