Hi Everybody.
Since yesterday my W2K server with IIS 5.0 doesn't work. When I try to
retrieve a web page on the server I receive the message HTTP 403 forbidden.
I controlled all the privileges on the folders but they are ok. Moreover the
FTP sites work very well.
If I change the Server Ip Address everything works again. Is it a problem of
the last Microsoft Update?

Roberto

Hello,

Make sure you have set default document on website.

Website>Properties>Documents> and set the default document like index.asp.
By default it is Default.htm in IIS 5.0

If that is already set then what exactly error it shows in browser? Disable
show http friendly error messages in browser and hit that page again.

HTH.
