Someone else fills in... there's no one single person supporting our
platforms; there's a team of support staff who're available 24/7/365 and
usually within 4 hours.

As other people have said, it is a matter of PERCEIVED size,
reliability and trust.

Perhaps you were perceived as being "a kid in the bedroom with a cable
connection" rather than a professional business ?

Marketing is a complex matter, but worthy of consideration.

The closest we have to that is 800 meg with 8 gig bandwidth for $8 month
and we do not have any trouble filling servers. Perhaps your marketing or
timming is not right? People looking for a host have a bunch of needs that
you need to meet. Space and B/W are only two. Other things are often more
important. How you shape up in other areas might be the issue.

Also, getting clients from hosting forums should be seen as an extra. Best
source of clients always has to be word of mouth. A local, (as in your home
area) promo plan is also a main source. We have clients from all over the
world but around 60% of our clients - ( 95% in the first two years) - come
from approx 200 km of our office location.

yep - some folk just want to pay and forget - the co-op paradigm isn't for
everyone.

Halleluiah - shout it from the mountain.
