Post subject: Hosting recommendation for "storage space" site
Archived from groups: alt>www>webmaster (more info?)

I already have a website that is provided as part of my account from the
ISP I use, but it only has 5mb space so I can't store much there.

I have signed up for a free account at Brinkster to store some photos and
a couple of ASP pages that use a database. I am only on a free account
though at the moment so it has a bandwidth limit of 16mb a day (I could
use it up looking at the pictures myself.)

I was looking at some of the "upgrade options" on that site:
$3.95 (approx AUD $6) for 30mb space, FTP, 2GB bandwidth per month
$8.95 (approx AUD $13) for 60mb space, 4GB/month, email account

Does anyone know of any similar services?

I don't want to move my website at the moment as it has recently been
mentioned in a movie reviews book and other people have linked to it.

Thanks.

Try <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.webandprint.com.au/webhosting.html" target="_blank">http://www.webandprint.com.au/webhosting.html</a>

They don't seem as cheap as what you have, but they offer a lot in the
packages.
I use them and they have good customer support.

If you can cope with US hosting and no ASP then:
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.myqth.com" target="_blank">http://www.myqth.com</a>
500Mb for $48 per year or $7.95 per month
