Can someone, please, give me detailed pointer on this one - how do I get to
that menu/screen?

I am getting a HTTP 403.9 error - 'too many connections' when developing and
testing my website on XP professional edition. Started getting this error
towards the end of the first day. Searched around on the web and found lots
of refernces and only one suggestion - disable keep-alives. But given that I
am really inexperienced I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DO IT in XP. Cannot find any
help on that - probably not looking in the right places.

Thank you very much

Leonid

It's right on the first screen when right clicking and selecting properties
on the default site in the iis admin.

Not sure if it helps though, might drop some connections faster which
possibly could help things.

IIS in XP only has a ten connection limit, not sure how you manage to get
over that if you only use it for development (which is the intended use).

Thanks PL. I know it sounds stupid, but how do I bring up ISS Admin. It is
not helping that I am running it on someone's machine, with a foreign version
of XP installed - all the labels in various screens/menus are in a different
language, and even though I can read them, sometimes it is difficult to
translate them back into their english equivalent.

I went to My Computer->Administrative Tools. Saw the IIS Administration
Icon. Is this the ISS Admin? Right clicked on it and selected properties but
do not see any default site option?

Yes, you should open the IIS Admin like a normal program, then right click
on the default website inside it.
