My opinion:

[1] too many colours. Some how they don't match with each other nor with
the logo.

[2] too small, look for "liquid design".

Hi Alex,

Here's my suggestions:

1) Remove frames... they don't seem to be utlilized in your site
anyway
2) You're setting your entire site in a table at Width 540. I
generally do my pages in tables, but keep this at 100%. My screen is
1280x1024, so your site is very small in the center of my page. Makes
it hard to read.
3) I'd suggest using an HTML color wheel to rethink your color scheme.
Here's a program I've used in the past to help -
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.color-wheel-pro.com/" target="_blank">http://www.color-wheel-pro.com/</a>
4) Add more graphics to give your site a cool look. Your title image
is great! But this theme doesn't carry through your site.
5) Add some font variety to the page. Your using CSS, so this should
be a simple task.
6) Try to keep your content on no less then %200 of your screen.
Example, if user has to scroll more then one screen-length down to see
all your content, then they get bored easily. Try to keep everything
on one screen or at a minimum two screens virtually. Changing your
table width to 100% might fix this in your case.

I do like the content and text layout. Plus, your menus are set-up
well... but you could augment the menus with java menus if possible...
but what you have seems to work.

Hope this helps.

* Build the site layout around the banner graphic - that's the best part
of your site (although I'd consider using a different colour to
highlight the "Home" bit. You might also consider using images of some
of the more prominent wrestlers). So I would look towards a mainly
white/grey/black site with another colour (red/orange/brown) used
_sparingly_ for highlights.

* Related to above: cut down the number of colours and stick to a
central theme; it makes the site look more professional and easier on
the eye.

* Lose the frames... there is no need for them.

* Lose the text "Navigation"... IMO the user doesn't need to be told
that. You have used a standard navigation technique that even the
dumbest user is used to.

* Related to the top two: change the colour of your links in the
navigation and get rid of the gaps between the links. Make the Polls,
User Info links, etc stand out using <hr> tags instead.

* The site does not take full advantage of the screen (there's lots of
blank space on each side.

* If you do not know HTML and/or CSS: learn it. Else, do something to
that markup.

I can't -- someone threatened to sue me if I did. Sad

this could be done in Frontpage, right?

What do you mean there's no need for frames? All the best sites have
frames! This way my viewers can navigate as they please. There's no clumsy
interface that could lead them somewhere else.

But I spent two hours making that.

Then you better get rid of your total dependence on javascript or I, and
others of my ilk, will never see your site... The raw numbers, not
percentage, could lead to a significant amount of people who will never see
your site...

Sure. But you wanted critique Smile Content is *the most important* thing.
Since you have that covered (I guess) the next step is a pleasant look
which doesn't mean a lot of colours and graphics. Hmmm, as someone
suggested in your case a few pictures with wrestlers would be nice though.
