HELP! The World Wide Web Publishing Service service termin..

Hi there,

I suddenly get these messages (The World Wide Web Publishing Service
service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 216 time(s). The
following corrective action will be taken in 60000 milliseconds:
Restart the service. )
and the webserver is almost not reachable because of the restarts
anymore.
I tried shutting down all websites (about 60) one for one but it seems
not to be a certain website. restarting the server isn't a solution
too. The server is running win2k with SP4 and all the latest upgrades.
If I change the IP address to another IP which is not used it runs
fine, but offcourse it is not doing anything.
Reinstall off SP4 stops with a metabase error.
I can't find anything .

Something is causing the IIS services to crash. You can install DebugDiag
from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=9bfa49bc-376b-4a54-
95aa-73c9156706e7&DisplayLang=en and capture a crash dump. If you have a
drwatson.log that may also tell us what is causing IIS to crash.
