I think everyone with a qualifying website should use them.
I have done so much better with them over CJ and the like.

In fact I earned in one day with adsense what took me months to get
with CJ.

I am still amazed. Are they as good as they seem though? Anyone
have any bad experience with them? I would not think so being
a google thing but I just wanted to ask.

Is that the thing where you display google 'adwords' type adverts on your
site and get paid per clickthrough?....I've heard something about it, but
haven't really looked into it too deeply.....I assume from your post it pays
quite well then?<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

The first rule of Google AdSense is, don't talk about Google AdSense

I don't mean to pry, but could you give an insight into how much
monies we are talking here? Are we saying 100s per month, 1000s per
month or less than $250 per month?

I quite understand if you don't want to talk figures publicly.

I see they need your Tax ID or Social Security number, what's that all
about? Is that the normal way of doing business in the States??

Charles,

here in the States, if you pay someone more than $600 in a calendar year
you must give them a form and report it to the IRS. Reporting is done
via Social Security number for individuals and Tax ID number for
businesses.

One exception - you don't need to report payments to corporations.

Thanks Jerry. Here in the UK, the Inland Revenue takes your word for it,
usually!

Sounds like a nightmare administratively.

Not really. It applies here in the UK too. Ever done any 'casual labour' -
for at least 25 years now there has been a requirement to account for
outgoing money from a business either with a N.I. number or an incoming
invoice. You can't just push it through as casual labour for cash.

I'm not suggesting there isn't a 'black economy' but I don't think that's
what we're discussing here.

Really? I think they must be hiding or doing the public speaking rounds in
the States.

For wages yes. I got the impression from Jerry that it applied to suppliers
too!
