I got an email from google saying that they have implemented new software.
They are supposed to be showing a wider variety of ads & increase revenue.

What I've seen on my sites is a vider variety of ads aimed at
"professionals" - job ads, airline offers, emmigration.

But I've also notied a pleasant bump up in revenue. Are others experiencing
this also??

Glad it is working for you. Mine seems to have gone down...
I think it might be related to the channel use since that was when the
downturn started.

I am about to remove the channel code and see if things pick up again.
That will give me my answer.

Google Adsense... - I think everyone with a qualifying website should use them. I have done so much better with them over CJ and the like. In fact I earned in one day with adsense what took me months to get with CJ. I am still amazed. Are they as good as they seem though?...
