Hello everyone,
This question has probably been answered before, but I cannot find any
reference, so if someone can post here I would be most appreciative.
So, here is the deal: I have 1000+ pages, mostly centered around cabling,
but with actual information ranging from phone systems to wifi, video etc.
The problem is: the ads Google shows are only relevant to (what I can think
of) the home page of my website. From what I was reading on the subject, I
could only get one good advice: edit your meta tags so they match the
content. I did a great deal of meta editing lately, but the ads are still
showing the same way, more or less irrelevant for most but the home page.
Anyone knows a solution for optimizing the ads for relevancy?
I can imagine that Google would also be most interested in relevant ads as
they have most clicks, but am I! However, due to the great cloud of secrecy
around the program, there is no real way to help Google do their job.
Considerable number of pages on my website are dynamically created, which I
understand Google crawler does not like very much, but right now I'm just
struggling to get at least the static pages to show relevant adds. BTW, the
static pages are in *.shtml format as this is how the page template is being
handled. Does that add to the problem? To complicate things even more, some
pages do show highly relevant adds, but not always, so I'm totally confused.
Any opinion, suggestion or advise will be greatly appreciated!
