Archived from groups: alt>www>webmaster (more info?)

Hello everyone.

I'm going to be redesigning our web site very soon and am wondering if
anyone here could list any web sites that you feel are well-designed that I
could take a look at for influence. I've seen a few that I like but I would
like to hear the opinions of some other professionals too.

I'm not looking for any flash applications/animations or any neat spash
pages, just simple HTML/CSS web pages.

I'm not concerned with content or how the design was layed out (CSS or
tables). I'm also not looking to copy someone's design, just looking for
some more influence. Smile

Thank you,

- J

Maybe a visit to my templatesite is good for inspiration? Even if you
don't buy anything, I am sure you'll find a lot of nice designs to get
your juices flowing.

Dear OP,

You don't need to buy templates from a reseller. I've done a couple of
non-table css layed out sites after visiting places like Little Boxes
and glish.com. Oh, and use brucie's links. They're the best.

Look in the sigs of most of the regulars here. They are all pretty good
sites.

As for detailed examples - it depends on your type of site.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

dunno if they're well designed or not, i just use them as examples when
people are looking for sites that use css for layouts.

It should be - it was done by someone who certainly knows his stuff. No big
surprise that the website is quite accessible.
