| I'm a network administrator for an ISP and lately we've
| been getting the following in our IIS 5.0 server's event
| viewer.
|
| Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions:
| Error #3005f Message: Unable to read configuration for
| Microsoft Internet Information Server.
|
| The event ID is 1000.
|
| I can find nothing in the Knowledge Base that can give me
| a resolution. I've tried removing and reinstalling the
| Frontpage 2002 Server extensions and this did not resolve
| the problem. The 2000 Server extensions don't seem to
| cause the problem, but I've got clients who need to be
| able to use the 2002 extensions.
|
| Thanks,
|
