I'm a network administrator for an ISP and lately we've
been getting the following in our IIS 5.0 server's event
viewer.

Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions:
Error #3005f Message: Unable to read configuration for
Microsoft Internet Information Server.

The event ID is 1000.

I can find nothing in the Knowledge Base that can give me
a resolution. I've tried removing and reinstalling the
Frontpage 2002 Server extensions and this did not resolve
the problem. The 2000 Server extensions don't seem to
cause the problem, but I've got clients who need to be
able to use the 2002 extensions.

Thanks,

Brian Collazo
