Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

I am having trouble getting the Frontpage Extensions to
run on IIS in Small Business Server 2000. they appear to
be ok when I run the Check Extensions function but I
cannot load a webpage using them. I created a small
upload page on the server to test them and if I have the
default page running it works locally, but not from
another computer. If I stop the default site they fail
locally as well. I created the website using the
wizard. If I put a webpage in it the pages display
properly over the internet, but do not do anything that
requires the extensions. In particular I am running a
search with this page. Is there any log files that I
should be looking for, or any diagnostic tools I could
run? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure I complete understand what you are trying to accomplish or
what problem you are having.

Does the site it self work and the problem is particular to the search
page? Are you using Index Server to do the search? Are you getting any
error messages?
Have you checked the event viewer and see if there is anything logged.
Have you checked the IIS logs (%systemroot%\system32\logfiles) and see if
the request is actually being logged by IIS.

Your questions will probably be better answered in our FrontPage newsgroups
