I was going to recommend Typo3, but if phpnuke is overkill I guess it's not what you were looking for . You could check out the many blog systems, they're usually very simple. WOW! I checked http://www.phpwcms.de (someone mentioned it) and I am really really really impressed by the quality of this cms!! This is the best I have seen for small to midsized cms. I never really liked all those Nuke types of cms and other portal systems. PHPWCMS is EXACTLY what I had in mind when thinking of a good cms. I am no programmer so could not program it myself, and have no money to have it built. This German guy Oliver Georgi seems to have read my mind or something. Thanks alot!
