What do you mean by why? I'm just trying to raise some awareness of my site!

The Boonwalker Network wishes to apologise for the inconvenience

Well, you didn't ask for a critique, and I found nothing related to a
possible alt.www.webmaster discussion.
Posting it at alt.www.webmaster.ads was appropriate.

You do that through your site. If wanting to ask how to get more
interest generated in your forum - then ask hfor ideas or suggestions
about how to do that.

Some, with your posting about your forum as you just did, would not
view it as wanting to raise awareness about your site - but a form of
spamming about its existence. Some forums or newsgroups were created
for site promotion or advertising but this group isn't one of those.
