Error = [Microsoft][ODBC Excel Driver] Disk or network err..

I have been getting this error when I try to access an excel file
through our local intranet. This is something that began recently and I
not sure what is causing this problem. I can run the page from another
server without any problems. I think it is a rights issue but I have
even gone as far as giving everyone full control. Below is the error
message. Thanks for any help.

Driver={Microsoft Excel Driver (*.xls)};DBQ=c:\2005 Monthly
Leave.xls;DriverId=790;Extended Properties=Excel 8.0;HDR=No;
Error = [Microsoft][ODBC Excel Driver] Disk or network error.

Yes, sounds like permission issue. See if this help

if still the same, try filemon (sysinternals.com) to trace.
