Ok, sorry for the length of this, but background could be important. I have
a website that was moved from NT to a Windows 2003 server. Now, my feedback
form results do not automatically email to a specific individual. They do
however, post to the database on the server - as they should. What component
is "broken" and where do I begin to look for this? I did notice that on the
NT server, SMTP service was installed and it was not on the 2003 - so I
installed in on the 2003 server, but my problem still plagues me. Any
assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Caron.

NT came with CDONTS mail component. 2003 does not have that. CDOSYS is
what replaced it. You'll need to update your code to use CDO.Message
instead of CDONTS.NewMail. There are a few other things to change beyond
that. I suggest posting in microsoft.public.inetserver.asp.general about
this if you need further assistance.

And don't listen to any of those lazy people who say to just copy over
cdonts.dll and register it! ;]
