That is a contradiction in terms -- there are no good WYSIWYG HTML editors.

Nvu is less bad than most though.

Yes, I use it in linux (Ubuntu), some bugs but generally works nice. Also
mozilla suite includes mozilla composer which is a nice and free wysiwig

Yep, NVU is pritty good, I especially like the CSS editor and the
Mark-up cleaner.
