Post subject: Can't Edit Word Docs, always "Currently in use"
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

Running IIS 4 on an NT4, sp6a machine, whenever we try to
edit Word docs ( rename, delete, etc... ) we get a
FrontPage error that says something to the effect
of "Can't delete/edit (filename), currently in use."
HTML, .ASP, and even PowerPoint files never give us a
problem. But for some strange reason the Word docs will
not let us manage/edit/delete them from a remote client
using FrontPage 2003. Any help on this would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks ...

Try here:
microsoft.public.frontpage.client
or
microsoft.public.frontpage.extensions.windowsnt

Thank you. I hope this information is helpful.
