I have sort of an odd request, and figured this'd be the best place to ask.

Every year, I have a neighborhood Halloween party. We used to set up cam's
to snap shots and upload them a web site. We've abandoned that idea, because
the cams we used took low quality shots in the dark, and we got 10's of
thousands of pictures we just never look through.

This year we plan to use our good ole digicams and make it easy for party
goer/picture takers to upload them to the web site.

My thinking is...A PC with a memory card reader that lets them dump the pics
in a folder, just copy and paste. Then an automated FTP client will grab
them on a scheduled basis and place them on the web server.

Here's where I need ideas. I could just open the dump folder on the web
server to allow browsing, but I want something more eloquent for visitors.
I'd like to have an ASP or ASPX page that grabs the pictures from the
folder, thumbnail's them, and presents them on a page. I am not sure how it
would grab, maybe by hour? I dunno.

Any thoughts on a way to pull this off?

BV.
