Can someone recommend some good domain auction sites? I'm looking to
unload a few.

Thanks!

I don't think there is any such thing anymore. Except for some travel or sex
related domains with good keywords in the domain name, the only good domains
are domains with traffic and existing search engine placement. I say travel
and sex since those seem to be the only two things on the Internet that are
making any decent money.

http://www.ebay.com/
I have watched quite a few domain and full site auctions there with
interest.
Most have sold. Seems like a good place. Some full sites have sold for
outrageous prices IMO.

Worthless.
dixiewebhost.com, dixiewebhost.net dixiehosting.biz dixie-hosting.com,
dixie-hosting.net are all available.

Why anyone would pay more than the few dollars it would cost to register a
domain for a domain that has no business or traffic associated with it is
beyond me.

As has the fact you're trying to sell domains that are worthless, (or only
worth the cost of domain registration), for $3,000.

He's [1] negative towards everything Dixie.

[1] He, she, it, them. Difficult to tell with anonymous posters.

Up until about 6 months ago, I might have said the very same thing,
but a friend had a domain name (which I thought was much worse), and
he received an unsolicited offer for $1,500. Not for the site, just
for the domain. It may not be worth the money to you, so I'll not
expect you to tender an offer on it. But there may be someone out
there who thinks they're worth it (especially after the other
"desirable" ones are gone), and since it's registered for almost
another year, what the hell do I have to lose by putting them up for
auction and seeing if someone's willing to pay they money? [rhetorical
question, reply not necessary]<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
