Archived from groups: alt>apache>configuration (more info?)

Hello,

Is there a way to findout which all directories under http-root are
password protected, without looking into either http.conf/.htaccess
files or actually accessing the directories (from outside the machine
running Apache)?

My guess is that there is no such facility, but just want to make sure
that there are no undocumented features in Apache which might give us
this info.

TIA,
Srivatsa.
