Archived from groups: alt>apache>configuration (more info?)

Hi,
i have an apache server set on a linux debian sarge server. Apache
version is 1.3.33 using PHP/4.3.10-16. The server can manage up to 25
processes and after they die and show as defunct zombie processes.
I can t see any error message in error.log and don t anderstand that
limitation. Is this a configuration issue ? Can someone help me with
that ?

Thanks
Yann
